As a Manager of Technical Services, I am responsible for developing custom reports, writing general ledgers and developing interfaces to other accounting and HR systems in order to assist our clients with their daily payroll duties.

I spent 15 years working in the accounting field and decided to go back to school and pursue a degree in Computer Science from DePaul. When I came to Paylocity, I started in the technical services department as a Payroll Systems Support Analyst and thought this is too good to be true. The position was a perfect blend of my prior job experience and my recently acquired degree.

Everyday is unique. Each client request brings a different challenge. The work environment at Paylocity promotes teamwork and collaboration and as a result, your co-workers quickly become good friends. The technical services department is very close. Everyone in the department has our area of expertise whether it is more technical or accounting/payroll related. Since we provide such highly customized reporting and integrations for our clients, we all have to work very close together in order to complete projects on time and to the clients' specifications.

I honestly love my job! Plus, I get to wear jeans everyday! You can't beat that.
