Paylocity Privacy Policy
To fulfill our service obligations, Paylocity collects and processes sensitive information on its customers and their employees. Such information includes, but is not limited to, name, SSN/FEIN, bank account, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone numbers etc.

Promotional Calls
Paylocity customers are occasionally contacted for our value added services. These mutually beneficial services are offered by Paylocity and/or Paylocity partners. Paylocity does not contact our customer's employees to promote any value added services. Employees of existing Paylocity customers are only contacted in regards to subscribed services.

Website Quote Request
We collect the name, physical address, and e-mail addresses of prospects that request online quotes. Information is volunteered by the prospect using the online form and is not collected in any other way.

Private Data
The privacy of Paylocity customers and their employees is important to us. We guard all private information that is requested. All collected information is only used for providing our customers with various Paylocity services. Paylocity reserves the right to contact customers on service related issues.

Paylocity employees are granted access to client's private data only if it is needed to perform their job. All employees go through a background check, security training and are committed to our privacy policies. Additionally, we share this information with our business partners if requested by our clients and only for its intended legal use.

We do not sell, rent or share any private information collected from our web sites to any 3rd party without written approval from our customer.

Paylocity may disclose information gathered if deemed necessary to:
a) Conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process;
b) Protect the interests of our users;
c) Protect and defend our rights and/ or property.

Cookies
Paylocity's web sites use session "cookies". A cookie is information stored on your computer browser. Cookies enable the site to lock-on to your session and allow faster, easier, and a safer web site experience.

All web sites use cookies differently. Paylocity does not record private information in cookies. All information is stored on our protected systems and servers. We only use encrypted session cookies which expire when you leave the web site, logoff, or after two hours of idle time.

Log Files
We gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include IP addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track how visitors interact with the site. Paylocity may share statistics on website usage, but will never include private client information.

Newsletters
If you have voluntarily opted to enroll in receiving promotional communication, Paylocity may send you mail or e-mail regarding our products and services. If you do not wish to receive such offers and mailings, you can remove yourself by following the opt-out directions included with the communication.

E-Mail Correspondence
Paylocity cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us especially in the form of an e-mail. We have limited ways of protecting that information until it reaches us. All web transactions and e-mails sent by Paylocity containing sensitive private data are protected using the best available encryption to the client.

We will never ask you to divulge your password via an unsolicited phone call or e-mail under any circumstances. All user passwords are stored using a one-way hash and cannot be read even by Paylocity employees.

Business Partners
Paylocity.com contains links to our business partners. We only link to websites we trust, but, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by other sites. Paylocity reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Customers will be notified in advance of any changes to this privacy policy.
