SHORT-TERM FUNDING AGREEMENT

Earlier this afternoon President Trump announced that a short-term deal has been reached to end the shutdown and reopen the federal government. The Senate and House have passed the short-term funding bill and President Trump signed it late Friday evening.

The temporary agreement reopens the government for three weeks, until February 15. During this three-week period, Congress will continue negotiations on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appropriations.

The agreement passed today reopens all government agencies, allowing federal employees to go back to work and ensures they will receive back-pay.
