SCHAUMBURG, Ill., (April 25, 2019) — Paylocity (NASDAQ: PCTY), a cloud-based provider of payroll and human capital management (HCM) solutions, has been recognized as one of the highest-rated public cloud computing companies to work for on list released today by Battery Ventures and Glassdoor. The list — which highlights 25 publicly traded, B2B cloud computing companies where employees report the highest levels of work satisfaction — placed Paylocity at #6.

“Building a culture based on collaboration, creativity, and integrity has been one of the biggest contributors to Paylocity’s success, and these attributes are consistently acknowledged by our employees on Glassdoor,” said Steve Beauchamp, Chief Executive Officer at Paylocity. “We are honored to be recognized on this list for the second year in a row, and I’m proud to work with professionals who feel empowered and enabled to innovate and grow every day.”

Paylocity’s overall company rating on Glassdoor is 4.3, compared to the broader average of 3.4 across the job and recruiting site. Beauchamp boasts a 94% approval rating on Glassdoor — compared to an average of 69% for all employers on the site — and the company has a 83% positive business-outlook rating, compared to the broader Glassdoor average of 49%. Feedback shared by current and former employees directly drives these ratings.

This is the third year Battery, a global investment firm, has issued this list. The rankings highlight the broader trend of businesses increasingly turning to the cloud to run critical technology systems and software. They also highlight the growing importance of culture and employee happiness in running a successful business.

“The public companies on this list have not only scaled their products, teams, and business functions — but they’ve managed to scale culture,” said Neeraj Agrawal, General Partner at Battery. “We view these rankings as a key indicator of company health and longevity, and we hope all companies on this list view it as an honor to be included.”
