Peter J. McGrail Scholarship
In honor of our late CFO, Peter J. McGrail, we’ve established a scholarship program to advance education among the next generation. In keeping with Peter’s passion for learning, this program helps offset the cost of college education. The scholarship is open to dependent children of employees who have completed at least two years of continuous service with Paylocity.
Peter J. McGrail:
A Transformative Leader
In a career spanning more than 25 years, Peter J. McGrail worked as a financial executive for highly successful public and privately held companies and served as Paylocity’s Chief Financial Officer from 2010 through 2017. Peter’s passion for driving a learning and development culture across the organization guided Paylocity’s transition to a publicly-traded company in 2014. He will always be remembered for his wisdom, quick wit, genuineness, and willingness to help others – all hallmarks of Peter’s legacy. The Peter J. McGrail Learning Center at Paylocity’s headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois, is also dedicated in his memory.
A Scholarship for Future Changemakers
In honor of Peter, Paylocity established a scholarship program in 2017 to advance education for future generations. In keeping with Peter’s passion for learning, the award was created in his legacy by his Paylocity colleagues to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education, upholding Peter’s steadfast belief that learning and curiosity propel lives. We hope all recipients will use it to capitalize on their potential and the power of education to become transformational leader.
