Sales


As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help us solve challenges and succeed as you grow and understand the unique needs of our clients and tailor easy-to-use solutions to deliver the performance they need.

With a position in Sales & Marketing, you’ll strengthen our relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.

Position Overview 


Reporting to the Area Vice President Sales, the RVP Sales - Growth, is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Director Sales – Growth who oversee high-performance sales teams focused on Growth market revenue. This leader will establish growth strategies, ensure operational excellence, and drive consistent achievement of sales targets across all Growth market. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to deal, a proven track record in employee development, and an extensive background in B2B sales.  

Primary Responsibilities  


Strategic Leadership & Business Management 

• Collaborate to establish and execute a comprehensive national growth strategy for the Growth market segment. 

• Set and manage national sales goals, forecasts, and performance expectations. 

• Review and manage budget adherence across the national Growth organization. 

• Oversee execution of crossmarket sales campaigns and initiatives. 


Leadership of Director Sales – Growth Team 

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 8-10 Sales Directors responsible for the Growth sales teams nationwide. 

• Conduct weekly 1:1s with each Director, reviewing pipeline, performance metrics, and development. 

• Ensure Directors set KPIs and development plans and AEs are on track and on target. 

• Foster a collaborative, highperformance culture. 

• Recruit, hire and train sales director team  and ensure team remains staffed to required headcount levels 


Sales Performance & Accountability 

• Monitor national Growth market sales performance including revenue, pipeline health, and conversions. 

• Provide ongoing performance reporting and insights to senior leadership. 

• Ensure market-specific strategies are executed. 

• Identify and address performance gaps. 


Operational Excellence 

• Oversee implementation of sales processes, tools, and analytics. 

• Ensure effective CRM utilization and forecasting accuracy. 

• Analyze performance data to improve efficiency. 


Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Enablement. 

• Support development of sales campaigns. 

• Provide market insights and customer feedback. 


Customer & Market Focus 

• Maintain understanding of Growth market trends and competitor strategies. 

• Support Directors in escalations and key account management. 

• Represent organization at events and planning sessions. 

• Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality.   


Education and Experience 

• 10+ years of progressive, successful sales leadership including leading leaders. 

• Proven success leading national/multi-region Growth market-focused sales organizations. 

• Experience in HCM, payroll, HRIS, or SaaS preferred. 

• Strong background in leader development and performance management. 

• Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force 

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. 

• Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented in execution.  
  • Results-driven with a track record of consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs.  
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.  
  • Willingness to travel and work in a virtual environment.  
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment

  • Mobility required for driving to prospective client sites  
  • Manual/finger dexterity required in both hands to operate computer keyboard and manipulate small objects  
  • Sensory ability required to see, hear and touch  
  • Mental effort required for reading, writing, visualization, calculation and analysis  
  • Job duties usually performed in an office environment with uniform temperatures and normal air conditions

The base pay range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
