We are looking for a Payroll Consultant with customer service experience and technical skills to assist new clients’ transition to their new payroll and human resources provider, Paylocity. If you are someone with computer skills, strong attention to detail, has mastered multitasking, and provides exceptional customer service, this is the right entry level opportunity for you.
In-Office: This is a 100% in-office role based at our Guadalajara, MX. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours.
Position Overview
The Data Conversion Associate I plays an essential role within the Shared Services Implementation team. The focus of this position is formatting client data to import into Paylocity’s product suite timely and with increased attention to detail to ensure data integrity. You will collaborate with internal partners such as Implementation and Human Resource Consultants. They work on projects with minimal oversight both independently and collaboratively with your team. Must be a creative problem solver that can dynamically move between a variety of project types and various stages.

- Conversion and application of employee and company level information into Paylocity’s product suite via numerous tools.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all work entered has been completed accurately using standard reports, building new reports and completing audit checks
- Effectively communicate with cross functional internal partners
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the most efficient process is selected for entry
- Focuses on immersion into payroll data knowledge and building the foundation for further data manipulation techniques.
- Works with conversion tools such as Able2Extract, Auto Hot Key and PDF converters
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Must demonstrate business-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with English speaking global teams.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
