 This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements.? You must be available five days per week during designated work hours.? The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.?  


Position Overview

The Project Manager Business Process Transformation responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time and within budget. Provide day-to-day leadership in analyzing requirements, develop design and implement / configure cloud-based solutions supporting corporate applications.

• Lead and organize cross functional teams assigned to business process transformation efforts across the Enterprise, with a focus on the Implementation space.

• Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.

• Manage day-to-day execution of project work streams. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables for specific projects, as assigned. 

• Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and in-depth analytical capabilities.

• Leverages data to generate organization and people insights, which in turn influence areas of focus and strengthen decision-making 

• Coordinates project meetings with internal and cross-functional teams, generates meeting materials and produces post-meeting deliverables. 

• Effectively work with teams to identify/mitigate project risks and participates in creation of risk mitigation plans. 

• Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.

• Recognizes areas for internal improvement and work with teams to develop plans for implementing them. 

• Collaborate across all business units to control resource requests while aligning to budgets and project plans

• Perform various administrative tasks as needed, including logistics for meetings and workshops, room bookings, catering, and visitor registration

• Provides regular updates of the progress and status of specific projects 

• Demonstrates a commitment to Paylocity Core Values

• Other duties as assigned

• 10% travel as needed


Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree

• 4- 10 years Project Management experience delivering solutions using both waterfall and agile methodologies, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experienced with project management software Monday.com 

• Experience with agile development tools such as JIRA.

• PMP or MSP Certification a plus

• Highly organized and able to multi-task

• Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership skills – must be able to work confidently and effectively with multiple departments and levels within the company 

• Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies/internal software systems and identify user applications

• Physical requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.

• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously

The base pay range for this position is $78,300 - $145,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
