This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.


Position Overview

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst plays a key role within the Information Security organization. The primary responsibility is to lead quarterly User Access Review (UAR) Certification campaigns across the enterprise, which includes conducting pre- and post-campaign analysis and ensuring data integrity and quality.


This role also supports Role Lifecycle Management (RLM) initiatives, leveraging industry-standard Identity Management (IDM) solutions.


Additional responsibilities include contributing to initiatives such as identity lifecycle management, identity governance, and privileged access management. The analyst collaborates with a team of engineers, architects, and analysts to support the effective implementation and use of IAM throughout the organization. The position requires familiarity with regulatory controls (e.g., SOX, SOC) and frameworks (e.g., NIST), as well as the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external audit professionals.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive the quarterly User Access Review (UAR) program that spans across the enterprise in collaboration with multiple IAM team members, stakeholders and other Technology partners
  • Expert level of utilizing data management tooling (MS Excel, SharePoint Document Management, BI Publisher, Tableau) to perform analysis and detailed reporting
  • In support of User Access Reviews (UAR), performs Quality Control (QC) for pre and post campaign data analysis to ensure data integrity and quality
  • Utilize industry standard ETL solutions to support data analysis and quality control
  • Work closely with various internal and external audit teams in support of Regulatory IAM controls
  • Expand on the existing set of business processes and workflows and continue to mature a Role Lifecycle Management (RLM) program that can be utilized by the company
  • Responsible for role mining and enrollment of applications into an ABAC framework while working with other Product experts
  • Partner with multiple Application teams to document requirements and use cases for Authorization (entitlements/groups/roles) and User Access Reviews (UAR) within given software Applications
  • Solve complex identity problems and offer recommendations to drive change and deliver results
  • Provide executive leadership team with timely updates to ensure awareness of security risks
  • Execute and enhance the business process workflows for RLM
  • Support the UAT and deployment of the Role Lifecycle Management self-service model for various Applications
  • Troubleshoot, root cause analysis, and recommended mitigation controls to reduce future risk.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference for computer science, information security, management information systems, or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years’ experience in IAM analyst/ support job function required
  • Expert level using data management tooling (MS Excel, BI Publisher, Tableau)
  • Experience with SailPoint IIQ Compliance Manager or similar Identity Management (IDM) solution preferred
  • Experience supporting an IAM Production ABAC framework with roles
  • Experience supporting role lifecycle management (RLM) functions
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working with internal and/or external auditors preferred
  • Working knowledge of industry standard security frameworks (NIST)
  • Working knowledge of Regulatory controls (SOC, SOC2, GDPR)
  • Ability to work in an Agile SDLC methodology

Physical requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
