Position Overview 

This position will work with dedicated product teams to ensure that our NetSuite and financial applications deliver against our customers’ unmet needs. They will function as ambassadors of quality within the team instilling a testing mindset to improve overall quality and team velocity. They are responsible for ensuring our applications functions the way it is intended by creating testing plans and strategy.? 

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs test plans and design for program changes to meet user stories/requirements. 
• Acquires and applies basic business knowledge to support application testing. 
• Plans, documents, and executes system test plans to ensure completed code/configuration/changes meets defined success criteria. 
• Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles. 
• An advocate for continuous improvement of our software development process. 
• Complies with and contributes to standards and procedures to ensure consistency in testing standards and change management. 
• Ability to keep up with current technology trends in NetSuite to access and make recommendations on processes, design, and operations 
• Self-sufficiently?perform?routine?testing?work  
• Perform exploratory testing on the product to understand its testing challenges  

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
• Demonstrated experience building tests from scratch without an existing framework  
• 3+ years of experience in testing software  

Required Skills: 

• Experience testing APIs  
• Experience testing consumer facing web applications  
• Deep knowledge of software testing best practices in an agile environment  

Preferred Skills: 

• NetSuite 
• Boomi 
• Avalara
