The Director of Business Enablement – Operations & Go-to-Market is responsible for driving innovation, efficiency, and productivity across both the Operations and Go-to-Market (GTM) functions through the strategic use of technology. This role sets the vision, leadership, and standards necessary to deploy and support applications and tools that improve client retention, reduce effort, and accelerate revenue growth.
In partnership with senior leaders across the organization, this role oversees the intake, prioritization, and execution of initiatives that enhance business performance. The Director leads a team of product owners and business analysts who work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that meet business needs. The role also includes a critical focus on leveraging emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence (AI)—to innovate across both domains.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Establish and evolve a strategic roadmap of enabling tools for both Operations and GTM teams.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process digitization, automation, and enhanced decision-making through technology.
- Champion the evaluation and responsible adoption of AI-powered tools and capabilities, aligning implementation with high-impact use cases.
- Drive strategic alignment and ensure measurable ROI for all technology initiatives.
- Lead financial planning related to tooling—including budgeting and forecasting.
Product & Program Leadership
- Lead a high-performing team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, ensuring quality in user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
- Build and maintain a consistent intake and prioritization framework, enabling transparency and alignment to business strategy.
- Support agile execution by overseeing backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness.
- Serve as an advisor to the team, ensuring scalable, sustainable solution design and timely delivery.
Project Delivery & Change Management
- Oversee planning and execution of complex cross-functional projects, including new tool implementations and enhancements.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and proactive communication across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Implement structured change management practices to drive adoption and minimize disruption to operations.
Team Development & Coaching
- Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the product and business analysis functions.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and client-centric thinking.
Vendor & Application Governance
- Manage vendor relationships to support scalable implementation, integration, and support of key tools.
- Oversee application support and service delivery for a portfolio of tools including enhancements, bug fixes, and roadmap evolution.
- Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate tool effectiveness and ensure strong ROI.
- Maintain governance over release management, security protocols, and change control processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide technology or business enablement functions with increasing responsibility.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams of Product Owners and Business Analysts.
- Strong experience working in an Agile framework, with hands-on involvement in sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud/CPQ.
- Familiarity with GTM tools such as Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Hubspot.
- Familiarity supporting and optimizing operational tools such as Taskray, eGain, and Formstack.
- Demonstrated success introducing AI and automation capabilities within business workflows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in roadmap planning, intake design, and translating business goals into actionable technology strategies.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics in business terms.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000/yr however,
base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
