This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring two days in the office at our Bangaluru, Karnataka location and three days remote per week. The in-office days are subject to business needs. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. Position Overview
The Sr. Regional People Operations Specialist will work closely with local HR leadership and regional management teams to provide hands-on HR support, ensuring that HR policies, programs, and processes are effectively managed across the region. This role will support a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, payroll and benefits, HR systems, and document management. They will be proactive, organized, and able to manage HR operations across the region with a focus on employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

- Administer new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Responsible for the background verification process for new hires, ensuring all checks are completed in compliance with company standards.
- Provide accurate payroll inputs, ensuring timely and correct processing of employee compensation.
- Manage end-to-end employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless enrolment, changes, and communication for employees
- Maintain and organize accurate employee documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external HR audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are in place for review. Maintain system compliance and ensures HR configurations are aligned with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of HR systems and processes to facilitate employee inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Organize and support in-person meetings and company events and ensuring smooth logistics.
- Oversees employee movements (e.g., transfers, promotions) within applicable HR systems, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Provide support to the departing employee in understanding their post-employment benefits, assist with the transition process and providing necessary documents for.
- Ensure all necessary separation paperwork is completed, including experience letters and final settlement agreements, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve data issues to maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR-related data in all systems.
- Deploy HR policies, systems, programs, and practices across assigned business units to drive organizational alignment and employee engagement.
- Investigate employee complaints, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts while maintaining a positive workplace environment.
- Recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to continuously improve departmental efficiencies and enhance the employee experience.
- Manage multiple HR initiatives concurrently, balancing generalist responsibilities with the effective execution of specialized HR functions.
- Independently applies company policies and procedures to resolve employee issues and challenges, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage day-to-day work autonomously,with minimal guidance, while seeking direction for new or complex assignments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 4 years of HR experience
- Familiarity with a wide variety of HR concepts, practices and procedures
- Good knowledge of local employment law
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and HRIS systems)
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
