Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements.  You must be available five days per week during designated work hours.  The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary. 


Position Overview

As a Sr. Business Resilience Analyst, you will play a lead role in advancing the maturity of the enterprise-level business resiliency program to drive scalable risk mitigation across operational processes. This role oversees complex cross-functional projects focused on crisis management; risk mitigation and execution of strategies related to business continuity and disaster recovery. 

This role will be critical in developing end-to-end resiliency of PCTY’s products and services, identifying and managing operational risks, and continuous improvement.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end process maps outlining the interconnectedness of the dependencies of critical products, services, and internal processes and identify risks and gaps which could impair PCTY’s value proposition
  • Facilitate the development of continuity strategies and recovery procedures for key areas of the organization
  • Facilitate tests and exercise to validate resilience and recovery capabilities which meet or exceed Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) across the enterprise
  • Develop and maintain standards and procedures for disaster recovery and business continuity documentation
  • Train and exercise the Business Unit leaders and SMEs on business continuity and crisis management procedures
  • Utilize BCP software, emergency notification system, risk intelligence sources and resiliency information-sharing repositories to create and maintain Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery documentation
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the business recovery and disaster recovery plans
  • Serve as a subject matter resource to assess resilience implications related to technical implementations and other IT projects
  • Provide 7X24 rotational on-call support for enterprise incidents or crises which may require activation
  • Monitor events around the world, alerting the Business Resilience Office and appropriate stakeholders of risks
  • Facilitate enterprise activation during actual incidents, conduct After-Action Reviews, and manage lessons learned
  • Partner with infrastructure, application, database, product, and other technical areas to develop and maintain recovery procedures for critical technologies
  • Assist Business Resilience leadership in preparing for Steering Committee and other leadership meetings

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Security, Cyber Security, Crisis Management and/or Governance Risk & Compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Crisis and Disaster Management, Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience with applicable frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively with leaders, technical subject matter experts, and other internal stakeholders to navigate business resiliency complexities and drive organizational compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in interacting with technical and nontechnical individuals across the business
  • Possess one or more of the following professional designations: CBCP, CBCI, cABCF, CISSP, EDRP, GRCP, PMP

Physical requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $78,100 - $145,100/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
