From Uncertainty to Impact

When I first joined Airbase in 2021, I had no idea that journey would eventually lead me to Paylocity, a company that has exceeded every expectation I had about career growth, culture, and meaningful work. What grounded me early on were the people and the mission behind the product, and those same values carried seamlessly into Paylocity when the acquisition happened.

The transition into Paylocity wasn’t just smooth, it was energizing. Instead of losing what made our team strong, we gained even more: broader impact, deeper resources, and a culture that truly walks the talk when it comes to trust, autonomy, and employee empowerment. Paylocity welcomed us with openness, respected how we worked best, and encouraged us to stay connected to the curiosity and creativity that shaped our early successes.

Since joining Paylocity, I’ve had opportunities to grow as a Product Manager in ways I couldn’t have imagined; from collaborating across larger, cross-functional teams to influencing products that reach thousands of businesses. The emphasis on thoughtful problem-solving, empathy-led leadership, and continuous learning has shaped how I approach every challenge.

On a personal level, this chapter aligned with a major life milestone - getting married - and Paylocity’s support made it feel seamless. The flexibility to maintain balance and stay close to the people I love has had a real impact on my ability to innovate and show up fully.

Looking back, what could have been a period of uncertainty became a season of expansion. Joining Paylocity has reinforced that change doesn’t have to mean losing what you value; in the right environment, it means evolving into something even stronger.
