Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours; PST (8am-5pm). The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.
Position Overview
The Associate Client Success Manager is responsible for developing relationships within a client portfolio and ensuring those clients achieve long-term value through Airbase’s platform. This role applies business insight and independent judgment to address client needs, coordinate internal stakeholders, and drive adoption and satisfaction outcomes. This role supports retention and growth strategies by aligning customer objectives with platform capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships within a defined book of business to ensure alignment between client business goals and Airbase’s platform capabilities.
- Use discretion to evaluate client health, prioritize engagement efforts, and address potential risk signals proactively.
- Lead discovery conversations to identify product adoption gaps and work cross-functionally to address blockers and enablement needs.
- Support expansion and renewal initiatives by uncovering potential growth opportunities and collaborating with Sales or Account teams.
- Maintain ownership of client success plans, documenting key outcomes, risks, and strategies in success tools and systems.
- Function as a product and process advocate internally, sharing client feedback and recommending improvements to enhance the customer experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing role in SaaS, consulting, or B2B services.
- Fluent in English with ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Experience managing a revenue-based quota preferred
- Experience creating and delivering high quality QBRs to executive and leadership teams
- Experience managing de-escalations and coordinating feedback and discussions between internal/external teams
- Experience with Office of the CFO applications preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance ecosystem preferred
- Experience utilizing common tools within the CS tech stack (Salesforce, Gainsight, Gong, Catalyst, Totango, Outreach) preferred
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to assess client needs, use discretion to prioritize, and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable analyzing product usage data and translating insights into strategic action.
- Ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration and manage multiple priorities effectively.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $54,200-90,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
