As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help us solve challenges and succeed as you grow and understand the unique needs of our clients and tailor easy-to-use solutions to deliver the performance they need.

With a position in Sales & Marketing, you’ll strengthen our relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities.

 This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements, although there may be a need to visit the Schaumburg, IL office frequently.  You must be available five days per week during designated work hours.  The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager-Website, the Marketing Specialist – Web role will interpret requests and guide individuals with creative and technical skills to complete various projects for the Paylocity website properties. You will bolster Paylocity's online presence by creating, improving, and maintaining web pages. You will manage the full URL inventory to ensure the website is updated on a regular cadence. Additional duties will also include improving processes and reporting on traffic and metrics that will help identify improvements and best practices.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with various levels of management and cross-functional teams to update existing and/or build new web pages using Adobe CMS
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of available components and their capabilities in CMS to provide guidance to requestors that will best facilitate their request
  • Work closely with web designer to ensure a consistent, positive, and fluid user experience
  • Manage and juggle ticket queue of inbound requests to meet required timelines of website updates. Initiate tickets to implement and execute routine updates. 
  • Elevate new component design requirements to PM and manage delivery expectations with requestors
  • Manage and update URL inventory by assigned cadence.
  • Track pre/post web analytics to determine engagement with modified, impactful content
  • Support setup and roll-out of testing experiments in CMS.
  • Hold meetings and serve as PM with various marketing teams to ensure alignment and forward progression.
  • Work hand-in-hand with web project manager and cross-functional stakeholders to refine existing processes and define new process within Wrike for templates (ex. resource library content types) and new functionality (optimization and personalization) to ensure that the scalability and quality of all requests are met.
  • Perform competitive analysis for Web Senior Manager and Optimization Specialist that will guide best practices and areas of growth.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related fields required 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good project and organization management
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience and working knowledge of tech stack to support the website.

The base pay range for this position is $55,000- $60,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
