Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Development, the manager is a key member who will work cross functionally to execute & drive alignment for channel strategies across channel sales, marketing, operations and product. This role will work with existing & new channel partners to further develop the depth and value of the partnership while driving revenue growth for Paylocity. The position will have visibility with senior executives at Paylocity and an opportunity to enhance Paylocity’s standing with its partners.

- Work with the Senior Director and Senior Manager in Business Development, in partnership with executive team and cross functional partners, to develop and execute key Channel strategic initiatives
- Become a subject matter expert of Paylocity’s channel partner programs and be able to identify opportunities for program expansion by partnering closely with the channel sales team
- Develop, execute and maintain high performing programs for channel partners, including cross-functional alignment, with a focus on driving revenue growth & market expansion
- Partner and coordinate with cross functional teams (channel sales, marketing, operations, legal and product) to research and develop high impacting ideas to enable our leadership team to make key strategic decisions
- Ability to translate robust and complex ideas into easy consumable executive level presentation formats
- Explore and evaluate new potential channel categories by developing business cases inclusive of GTM strategy and execution plan
- Conduct research and analysis of key market trends impacting channel partners and articulate competitive dynamics and areas of opportunity for Paylocity
- Collaborate and support sales team to positively influence engagement with partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Ability to analyze performance metrics to develop partner-specific insights and trends, delivering a clear point of view on performance, gaps, and growth opportunities through cross-functional collaboration
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
- 4-6+ years of experience working for a high growth technology company with 3+ years in corporate development, strategic partnerships, business development or strategy role
- 2+ years of experience at a top tier investment bank or management consulting firm a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong project planning and cross-functional team management and participation skills
- Good work ethic; accustomed to delivering results in an organized manner. Highly engaged, hands-on, self-starter given the remote nature of the role
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive level strategic and financial presentations
- Experience within the HCM channel partner space is valued
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, advanced PowerPoint presentation development, advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting, PowerBI, and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) systems
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously

The base pay range for this position is $95,400 - $160,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
