Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for collaborating with leadership and process owners to design and implement solutions that address significant strategic priorities. This role analyzes business processes and performance measures to define improvement strategies and prioritize improvements. Successful delivery of projects is achieved by effectively leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders, while championing the use of process improvement methodology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium-scale initiatives, projects or specific workstreams within larger projects with moderate oversight, ensuring timelines, scope and budgets are adhered to from initiation to successful completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Develop, track, and maintain detailed project plans, managing all relevant aspects and communicate milestones and progress.
- Identify key metrics to help prioritize and monitor critical activities, ensuring consistent and effective tracking and reporting of progress.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to control resource requests, while ensuring alignment with project plans and budgets.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects by meeting key performance metrics, such as project timelines, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Schedule, coordinate and lead project meetings with cross-functional teams, generating meeting materials and post-meeting deliverables.
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks and participate in the creation of risk contingency plans.
- Conduct basic process mapping and process analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Recommend improvements and troubleshoot all issues with implementing process improvement solutions; may assist with the development of new processes using tools such as QuickBase, Power Automate, etc.
- Leverage internal systems to extract and analyze data to generate organization and people insights, influencing areas of focus and strengthen decision-making.
- Solicit customer feedback where applicable and benchmark external best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate virtual or in-person events.
- Train on process improvement methodologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM, or related field
- 5 years of general business experience required
- 2 years of process improvement or project management experience preferred
- Project management certification preferred, such as PMP or CAPM
- Process improvement certification preferred, such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma preferred
- Experience within a customer service focused organization preferred
- Experience working in a Human Capital Management/Payroll/Tax industry preferred
- Experience collaborating on projects that are deadline driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills – must be able to work confidently and effectively with multiple departments and levels within the company
- Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies/internal software systems and identify user applications
- Experience identifying and resolving complex issues
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively
Physical requirements

The pay range for this position is $61,300 - $92,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for a full range of benefits outlined here.
