Missouri Paid Sick Leave Repealed

Missouri repeals paid sick leave provisions under Proposition A, with changes taking effect August 28, 2025.

Proposition A Repealed
On July 10, 2025, Governor Mike Kehoe signed HB 567 into law that repeals the paid sick leave provisions in Proposition A. The repeal will become effective on August 28, 2025.
The voter-approved Proposition A required private employers employing individuals within Missouri to provide workers with paid sick leave to workers at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked beginning May 1, 2025.
