Today, Paylocity has been recognized in G2’s 2024 Best Software Awards, ranked once again as a top 10 HR solution. To qualify for the best HR software list, companies must have products listed under one or more of the HR software categories and then receive positive reviews from verified users. Across all software categories, including those outside the HCM space, Paylocity also ranked in:
- HR Products
- Best Software Products
- Global Software Companies
- Products for Mid-Market
As the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, G2 is visited by 80 million software buyers each year. Its annual Best Software Awards rank the world’s best software companies and products based on authentic, timely reviews from real users. The G2 Best Software Awards top 100 companies are ranked based on a combination of Satisfaction and Market Presence scores for each vendor on G2, and the top 100 products are ranked based on reviews across all categories they are a part of. To be recognized as a Best Software Award winner, a software company or product must receive at least 50 approved and published reviews during the 2023 calendar year.
"More than 90 million buyers visited G2 over the past year to find the right solutions to power their business, and it’s their feedback that guides these awards,” said Palmer Houchins, VP of Marketing at G2. “Not only are winners of these annual awards determined by real customers’ authentic feedback, but only the most recent reviews – from the 2023 calendar year – impact scoring."
Paylocity has been consistently recognized as a leader on G2’s Best Software Awards and G2’s quarterly Grid Reports for the last five years. Paylocity’s modern architecture provides a single employee system of record to support the entire employee lifecycle, connecting HR data to other business solutions and services for better consistency and greater efficiency overall. By combining consumer-oriented experiences with an automated all-in-one platform that streamlines and automates manual HR tasks, Paylocity clients are seeing better results in retention and engagement — ultimately driving business success.
“Paylocity has transformed our HR operations, from recruitment through exit, and much more,” said Carlyn Sanchez, Corporate Director of Human Resources, Noble House Hotels. “Our HR leaders are no longer caught up with files, binders, and endless paper administration. We now have modern, agile processes that will help us as we continue to expand our portfolio of resorts.”
“Throughout my career I’ve helped multiple companies transition to different HR platforms, and Paylocity is definitely my favorite,” said De Burke, HR Manager at La Porte County Library. “It’s clearly built by people who really understand HR. And I’ve never seen another system that allows employees to do what they can do with the Paylocity Mobile App.”
Paylocity invests more than 15% of annual revenue back into product development each year, so recognition like this is especially meaningful, as clients play a huge role in the development and innovation of the solution. Treating clients like co-creators, including implementing feedback from avenues such as G2 reviews, enables Paylocity to continually enhance the software to meet and exceed the needs of our users.
Most recently, Paylocity extended its platform with the acquisition of Trace, which will add labor planning tools to model, forecast, implement, and analyze headcount decisions. Trace’s headcount planning capabilities will add to Paylocity’s already powerful set of integrations and workflow tools to power mission-critical business processes, leading to better decision making and faster execution.
