She is passionate about helping organizations and their staff thrive by returning the Human aspect to Human Resources and Safety and bringing forward inclusive and equitable opportunities for all.

She started Mathews’ HR & Safety Consulting Services in 2017 as the trusted advisor for small and medium-sized business owners with the areas she believes are their most significant asset, their staff. Michele presents nationally on important Risk Management, Safety, and Human Resources topics for public and private sector businesses due to her recognition for helping companies successfully bring employees back safely during COVID.

Michele is a Safety Management Specialist (SMS), an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for both Construction Industry & General Industry, and an Authorized CPR/AED/First Aid Trainer. She has designations for the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP), Professional Human Resources (PHR), and Workforce Investigations Specialist. Additionally, Michele earned an MBA with an HR Management concentration, a BA in Human Resources Management, and an AA in Psychology.
