It’s hard to believe that our first Paylocity Career Fair in Meridian, Idaho has already come and gone! The event was a huge success, and we enjoyed meeting each and every one of you. Thanks to a company-wide effort, the career fair attracted 400+ job seekers in the Boise area.






We hope that everyone had a productive career fair experience, and enjoyed meeting with different departments, touring the brand new space, participating in numerous raffles, and most importantly, learning more about life at Paylocity and why it is such a great place to work!





As you continue your search, here are a few things to keep in mind post-career fair:



Stay connected. Follow-up with the Paylocity recruiters you talked to by sending them thank you emails. In the email, remind them who you are and where you met them, then mention a few details from your conversation and finish with a brief thank you for taking the time to speak with you.


Stay organized. As you contact Paylocity recruiters or apply for different opportunities, be sure to keep track of your progress.


Evaluate your interests. Think about the insight recruiters shared with you about departments and jobs. Then, reflect on your interests and compare the two. Do they align? Was there another opportunity at Paylocity that would fit you better?


Keep your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn updated. As you apply for different careers at Paylocity, it is important that all of your information is up-to-date! This not only helps recruiters when vetting potential candidates, but also increases your chances of interviewing.
