September 2021 Releases: COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Support, More Configurability for Compensation Plans, and More.
On September 9, 2021, President Biden directed the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to develop an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) which will require employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workers are fully vaccinated or have proof of a weekly negative COVID-19 test. In addition to our other product releases this month, we’re offering resources to help you navigate this.
Manage the health and safety requirements of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate
Paylocity is actively monitoring the progress of the ETS and will continue to add tools to help keep your employees safe and ease the administrative burden of compliance. A survey template is available to help you collect and report on your employees’ vaccination and testing status—regardless of whether you have our paid Survey product.

Track more robust compensation change reasons
We recognize that merit or promotions certainly aren’t the only reasons for pay changes. When setting the increase reason for compensation plans, a new configuration option is available where you can select from a list based on your company’s configured compensation change reasons. Once a pay increase plan is closed, the employee pay rate change will reflect the selected reason, as will compensation statements.
Make it easy for employees to get started with Paylocity
Administrators can now view a filterable list of users that haven’t activated their Paylocity accounts. You can more easily send users system-generated registration passcodes to invite them, verify their identity, and get them access to the system.
