Position Overview
As a Senior Analyst ERM, you will play a key role in supporting the growing Enterprise Risk function at Paylocity. This will include assisting in completing risk assessments and building out the supporting processes, including the ongoing monitoring and management of risks identified. The Senior Analyst ERM is a new and visible role that will assist in driving the day-to-day execution of the enterprise risk & third party risk programs. The role will be tasked with collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify & evaluate risks as well as develop risk mitigation strategies. The Senior Analyst ERM will contribute to the continuous improvement of the enterprise risk & third party risk program through cross-team collaboration, process improvements and data analysis. The ERM group is a key function within the overall Risk organization of the Company, working closely with other risk, compliance, and audit teams to address several risk domains.
Location: Available 100% remote. For Illinois applicants, the option is available to work on-site or hybrid at our corporate location in Schaumburg, IL.
Primary Responsibilities
The below represents the primary duties of the position; others may be assigned as needed.
- Execute critical day-to-day risk management activities, lead projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of an evolving risk management program.
- Engage with stakeholders & Risk team members across the organization to help enhance and drive consistency across the firm's risk management processes.
- Drive the collection of risk related information and maintaining the data within the organization’s Risk Management system.
- Identify and evaluate risks with stakeholders, including rationale for risk ratings, known projects to mitigate risk & risk owners.
- Partner with management on recommended risk mitigation initiatives & projects.
- Communicate results of risk assessment and ongoing status of risk mitigation projects with various stakeholders and the Risk teams.
- Assist in preparing presentations and other documentation to provide to key stakeholders, including executive management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand available data and help develop strategies to utilize data analysis to build risk insights & Key Risk Indicators.
- Develop ongoing risk-related reporting & dashboarding to enhance the day-to-day risk management activities & provide value-add risk insights to key stakeholders.
- Engage with business stakeholders and supplier contacts to facilitate and complete the performance of Third Party Risk Assessments.
- Support ongoing risk monitoring of third parties & response to risk events.
- Perform Third Party assessments as part of the organizations’ ongoing Third Party Risk Management program.
- Support in the enhancement and expansion of the Third Party Risk Management program.
- Perform system administration and change management within the Third Party Risk Management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ERM, accounting, finance, audit, compliance, third party risk management or data analytics role.
- Experience with ERM or Third Party Risk Management preferred.
- Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, IDEA, Tableau, or similar business/data analytics software preferred.
- Certification (CPA or CIA) strongly preferred but not required.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, and thoroughness.
- Process improvement oriented.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
