Paylocity CEO Earns Top Marks

What contributes to a great company culture? Good benefits, flexible schedules, and fun perks are things that typically come up in conversation (and we have all of that at Paylocity). But today people also want support, involvement, and engagement in their workplace. And it starts at the top.

That’s why we’re thrilled (but not surprised) to see our CEO, Steve Beauchamp, make Glassdoor’s Top CEOs list for 2019, coming in at #77 with a 92% approval rating. Just like our overall company rating on Glassdoor, the CEO rating is based purely on employee feedback.

Engagement is part of everyday life at Paylocity. Steve and the rest of the executive team focus on living the company’s Core Values and being accessible to employees. This accessibility to leadership tends to flatten an organization and allows open and honest conversations to take place. It is also what shapes our winning culture.

Paylocity tools help us all make and sustain connections across an increasingly complex organization. We use our Impressions tool to recognize each other and give kudos anytime, anywhere, using the mobile app. Recently, one of our summer interns tagged Steve in a post on our Community tool asking him if he wanted to join their group for lunch. Steve responded directly and immediately. Community allowed him to be more accessible and approachable than with traditional methods of communication.
