Position Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the International Payroll Experience. In this role, you’ll work alongside a Principal Product Manager to execute against and evolve the strategy for delivering seamless, compliant, and scalable global payroll capabilities. You'll focus on addressing the core needs of payroll administrators, simplifying how they enter, validate, and process payroll, and ensure that employees in all global markets experience a modern, consistent, and intuitive payroll interface.
Who You Are
- Global Payroll Expert: Deep understanding of international payroll processes, statutory requirements, and how global companies manage multi-country payroll
- Platform Integrator: Experienced working with aggregator models that use in-country providers (ICPs); understands integration requirements, data flow, reconciliation, and SLAs
- Strategic Collaborator: Skilled in aligning with partner teams, legal/compliance, operations, and external vendors to deliver unified and scalable solutions
- Mentor & Educator: Guide junior PMs and internal teams on international payroll best practices, ICP management models, and global compliance considerations
- Execution Driver: Lead agile teams and prioritize delivery around payroll setup, employee data & user configuration, exception management, and payroll reporting needs
- Business Connector: Understand how global payroll connects with time tracking, benefits, general ledger, and tax compliance in a broader HCM context
During Your First 6 Months
- Understand the Model: Learn how Paylocity’s HCM platform interfaces with ICPs to support global payroll
- Map the Experience: Identify key pain points across client setup, pay cycle execution, and reporting in a multi-country payroll environment
- Refine the Roadmap: Define and evolve a strategy for improving international payroll delivery, with a focus on partner integration, configurability, and end-user experience
- Execute Cross-Border: Own the backlog and delivery for international payroll workflows, including approval flows, and system reconciliations
- Partner Across Teams: Work with internal and external stakeholders to define scalable standards for global payroll configuration, monitoring, and support
Required Experience
- 8+ years in product management, ideally with experience in global payroll, HCM platforms, or enterprise software involving international workflows
- Proven track record of building or scaling aggregator-based models with third-party providers
- Experience with payroll integration patterns and localization requirements across multiple countries
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks relevant to global payroll
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, legal, compliance, and client-facing teams
- Strong analytical and execution mindset, with the ability to prioritize long-term vision and near-term value

The pay range for this position is $128,000 - $182,800 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here Benefits Link. Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements.
