The New York State Worker’s Compensation Board has released a Statement of Rights and Policy Model Language for the state required paid family leave. Under this law, covered employers are required to provide information to employees regarding their rights. There is also documentation that must be given to employees when they take qualifying family leave or take time off of work for a PFL qualifying event but do not request PFL.
