We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Integrations to lead our integration efforts and ensure seamless connectivity between our products and external systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all external integration focused functional areas within the operations department and will be responsible for driving strategy and execution.  

As Paylocity continues to grow each year, we are looking for a leader who can help us frame a vision and create scalability for our integration service delivery model. This leader will need to implement process improvement and change strategies while identifying expansion opportunities to maintain client and partner satisfaction/loyalty through growth.   


This position will lead a team across both new set-ups and support functions and will be measured by program development and delivery, profitability, and partner, internal, and external customer satisfaction.


Primary Responsibilities


1. Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a strategic integration roadmap aligning with the company's business objectives.
  • Being a thought leader in the operational and business elements of API focused B2B integration, marketplace, and professional services.   
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify integration win-win opportunities and prioritize projects based on organizational priorities.
  • Ability to operationalize vision and strategy to drive success revenue generation opportunities with key partners.

2. Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, motivate and develop all levels management staff.
  • Responsible for one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, growth opportunities and hiring plans to maintain a high performing team in a growth environment.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous improvement.
  • Should maintain an environment where employees feel valued and is a “Great Place to Work”.

3. Technical Expertise:

  • Experienced with current and upcoming trends in the market and being able to strategically position the organization accordingly.
  • Ability to communicate and influence cross-functionally with various product partners to execute the functional vision at scale. 
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of integration solutions ensuring solutions meet high standards of reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Ability to facilitate a migration plan to transform an organization from flat file integrations to API for growth and scale.

4. Operations Management: 

  • Ability to lead in a high-volume operations environment with varying functions.
  • Leading Paylocity’s integration function to successfully provide successful low effort/cost effective, high satisfaction/high quality integration services to customers and partners. 
  • Developing strong working relationships across Operations and all parts of the company.
  • Consistently use data to drive decisions and influence outcomes that drives a culture of continuous process and quality improvement. 
  • Create and execute against key performance indicators to drive performance management.

5. Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners providing integration solutions.
  • Experienced with supporting a marketplace vendor program; onboarding and supporting high volume of partners for optimal performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years in a leadership role with an emphasis on cloud B2B Integrations, preferably in a SaaS organization
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies, protocols, and standards with company-to-company transfers. Experience working with HR and/or payroll data a huge plus!
  • Experience Developing and Supporting B2B marketplaces.
  • Operational management experience in multiple functions, high-volume environment  demonstrating the ability to implement scalable processes during periods of high growth. 
  • Familiar with or at least accepting of the use of lean six sigma techniques to develop and improve operational efficiencies around delivery of integration services.
  • Strong judgment with the proven ability to balance growth, retention and profitability business goals against operational constraints and risk.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at varying levels in the company.
  • Ability to work effectively and influence indirectly to achieve goals and drive decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and team-oriented approach to create win-win solutions across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and negotiating with external vendors.
  • Certification in relevant integration technologies is desirable.

The pay range for this position is $130k - $185k /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
