About the Team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate design mockups and product requirements into functional frontend components. During the first six months, you will:

· Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs and ensure consistency across different platforms and devices.

· Write clean, maintainable, and modular code following best practices and coding standards.

· Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.

· Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing frontend bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions.

· Conduct thorough testing of frontend features and functionalities to ensure compatibility, usability, and accessibility.

· Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.

· Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, tools, and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our projects.

· Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to improve code quality and maintainability.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, workflows, and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency. 

Required Experience: 

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

· Proven experience (2 years) as a Frontend Software Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing frontend projects and contributions.

· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of DOM manipulation, event handling, and asynchronous programming.

· Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries: React.

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), package managers (e.g., npm), and build tools (e.g., Webpack).

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex frontend issues.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect UIs that meet design specifications.

· Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

· A passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Nice to Have: 

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)

· Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright – preferred, Jest, Enzyme, Cypress) and automated testing practices.

· Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.

· Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience in building accessible web applications.

· Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX techniques.

· Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.

· Contributions to open-source projects, participation in developer communities, or attendance at tech conferences/events.
