We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and user-friendly web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that enhance the user experience and drive business growth. The Product & Technology engineering family consists of software development, testing, database, devops, virtualization & network.

During the first six months, you will:

· Lead the frontend development efforts, including architecture design, implementation, and optimization of web applications.

· Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and develop robust frontend solutions.

· Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

· Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

· Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, tools, and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and processes.

· Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

· Optimize application performance and responsiveness by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing efficient frontend techniques.

· Collaborate with QA engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.

· Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and other Agile ceremonies to prioritize tasks, track progress, and deliver timely results.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, tools, and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Required Experience: 

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

· Proven experience (5 years) as a Frontend Software Engineer, with a strong focus on web application development.

· Extensive knowledge of modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and popular frameworks/libraries: React

· Proficiency in building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications with a deep understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques.

· Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and state management concepts.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), package managers (e.g., npm), and build tools (e.g., Webpack).

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically to tackle complex technical challenges.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.

· A passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Preferred Experience: 

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)

· Experience with server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js) and/or progressive web app (PWA) development.

· Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience in building accessible web applications.

· Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright -preferred, Jest, Enzyme, Cypress) and automated testing practices.

· Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

· Contributions to open-source projects, participation in developer communities, or attendance at tech conferences/events.
