As an Analyst of the Security Operations Team, you will be responsible for enabling the Threat and Risk Management organization to run as efficiently and effectively as possible.  You will work with management to drive day-to-day operational excellence that supports cross functional partners and ensure smooth running of our regular business rhythms and routines.

Department You will work within:

Security Operations is responsible for the architecture, engineering and operations of many of our cyber security roadmaps, tools, incident response, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and identity and access management. We are looking for an energetic Security Planning & Operations Analyst who is organized, detail oriented and willing to lead and learn at the same time.


Duties may include: 

  • Utilize visualization tools like Power BI to produce meaningful reporting/metrics like KPIs and KRIs for various audiences (C-Suite, VP, Directors, etc.).  
  • Work with similar peer role/s in Application Security to standardize reporting within Information Security.  
  • Ensure risks identified by the Security Operations team are added/updated in the risk register.  
  • Create, maintain, facilitate, and improve organizational level operating routines such as sprint planning, retrospective meetings, Kanban boards, etc.
  • Create early draft of executive level content & presentations.
  • Work across peer departments to align project commitments, track and report on initiatives, and recommend cross functional team engagement process improvements.  
  • Track tools and technologies within Security Operations to document features utilized, spend, renewals and product overlaps for tool spend optimization.  
  • Support aspects of Security Operations budget analysis and planning.
  • Help to improve processes by issuing surveys, synthesizing data, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.  
  • Work with various Security Operations teams to update documentation on our internal portals such as Confluence.

Required Experience:


What you need to have: 

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and pay attention to detail  
  • Exceptional organizational skills including the capacity to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills? 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing PowerBI to help teams visualize data for a variety of audiences (technical, managers, executives)
  • Proven experience creating presentations that resonate with the target audience(s)

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a project management environment 
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail  
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders  
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills  
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability  
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response  
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
  • Highly proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $88,766 - $113,298 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
