Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, External Reporting will be a key member of the External Reporting team and will be responsible for assisting with SEC filing preparation and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for several key cycles, including stock-based compensation, investments and financial reporting. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for conducting accounting research, implementing new accounting, disclosure and regulatory requirements, certain month-end closing processes, and ad hoc projects. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support key aspects of the financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A analysis in the 10-Q, 10-K and quarterly earnings release, including the statement of cash flows
  • Prepare annual proxy statement 
  • Conduct and assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new U.S GAAP accounting and disclosure and SEC regulatory requirements
  • Prepare periodic technical accounting memos on key topics, such as stock-based compensation, investment credit impairment and fair value disclosures
  • Maintain and improve upon existing Alteryx workflows utilized in financial statement analysis
  • Prepare and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for several key cycles, and satisfy requests for both internal audit and external auditors
  • Prepare and review beneficial ownership filings
  • Perform review over iXBRL tagging for SEC filings
  • Complete and assist with various month-end close procedures
  • Actively contribute to various ad hoc projects as required by senior management
  • Drive continuous improvements in key external reporting processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA or demonstrated progress toward CPA required
  • 3+ years public accounting or public/corporate accounting experience
  • U.S. GAAP technical accounting experience preferred, particularly as it relates      to stock-based compensation and equity accounting
  • Workiva, NetSuite, Alteryx, and other process automation tool experience preferred
